Title: Radiance

Radiance captures the electric beauty of a summer meadow—a golden American Goldfinch perched among glowing Black-Eyed Susans, surrounded by bursts of color, movement, and light. Deep indigo shadows contrast with luminous yellows, oranges, and turquoise, creating a dreamlike atmosphere that feels both wild and otherworldly.

Through expressive brushwork, layered color, splattered marks, and flowing drips, I wanted to capture more than the appearance of the landscape—I wanted to capture the feeling of being completely immersed in nature. The goldfinch becomes a small, radiant presence within a world alive with color and possibility.

Radiance is a celebration of wild places, native beauty, and those fleeting moments when nature seems to glow from within.
